Cavallo Point offers two distinct types of luxury lodging: 68 restored, historic accommodations (originally Fort Baker’s officers’ quarters) and 74 new, contemporary rooms & suites, most with panoramic Bay, Bridge or city views. Green & sustainable, the accommodations – most with cozy fireplaces – feature every modern comfort & amenity, including organic linens, spacious bathrooms, original artwork and free WiFi. Nowhere else in the Bay Area, California or beyond will you find a resort hotel offering accommodations like these.

The Frank House 

Ideal for a small group or a family with children, the Frank House is an historic building just up Kober Street. Offering 1175 square feet, this distinctive house features two bedrooms, each with Queen bed, walnut furnishings and period details. Highlights include expansive views of Fort Baker, San Francisco Bay and the city; separate living room with gas fireplace; and private front porch that is glass-enclosed to enjoy year-round. A small kitchen provides a refrigerator, cook-top, microwave, coffeemaker and other kitchen items. Cavallo Point Lodge welcomes friendly dogs.

Historic Two-Bedroom Suite 

Offering an average of 836 square feet, Historic Two-Bedroom Suites are our most spacious accommodations -- some with stunning San Francisco Bay views. Historic and beautifully restored, each welcomes guests with gracious walnut furnishings, period details and luxurious amenities. One bedroom has a King bed; the second has either one Queen or two Twin beds. A separate living room features an inviting gas fireplace and Queen sleeper-sofa, which can accommodate two additional people.

Historic Suite 

In historic buildings around the parade ground, Historic Suites feature a King or Queen bed, elegant walnut furnishings, vintage details and exceptional amenities in an average of 540 square feet. An inviting gas fireplace enhances the separate living room, where a Queen sleeper-sofa can accommodate two additional people. Some suites enjoy panoramic San Francisco Bay and city views. Outdoors on the first floor, rocking chairs tempt guests on shared front porches.

Historic King with Sitting Area and San Francisco Bay View 

Located in historic buildings encircling Fort Baker's parade ground, each Historic King with Sitting Area and View features a King bed with high-quality bedding and organic linens, elegant walnut furnishings, vintage architectural details and inviting gas fireplace. All feature breathtaking San Francisco Bay and city views, windows that open to Bay breezes and ceiling fans. These rooms offer an average of 491 square feet.

Historic (King or Queen) with Sitting Area 

Just up Kober Street in Fort Baker's historic buildings, each Historic (King or Queen) with Sitting Area room features a separate sitting and sleeping area, either a King or Queen bed with organic cotton linens, walnut furnishings and vintage architectural details. Outdoors on the first floor, guests enjoy shared front porches with rocking chairs. These inviting rooms average 430 square feet.

Historic Room 

With an average of 375 square feet, each Historic Room offers either a King or Queen bed with organic linens, elegant walnut furnishings, vintage architectural details, windows that open to Bay breezes, ceiling fans and luxurious amenities. Outdoors on the first floor, guests enjoy shared front porches with rocking chairs to savor the peaceful Fort Baker surroundings.

Contemporary King Suite / Contemporary King Suite with Golden Gate View 

Contemporary King Suites are our most exceptional contemporary accommodations. Many feature breathtaking views of the Bay and Golden Gate Bridge. Offering 578 square feet, including sleeping area and sitting area with daybed, each expansive suite is defined by a two-sided gas fireplace to enjoy from both spaces. Each has one King bed, bamboo furnishings, double sinks, separate tub & shower, and spacious patio or deck to savor the view. Secluded and romantic, these luxurious suites are perfect for intimate getaways.

Contemporary King Junior Suite / Contemporary King Junior Suite with Golden Gate View 

Nestled on the hillside, Contemporary King Junior Suites feature one King bed, contemporary design with bamboo furnishings, gas fireplace, sitting area with daybed to read or relax, luxurious amenities, and patio or deck with outdoor furnishings to savor the scenery. Many feature stunning views of the Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge. Averaging from 478 square feet, these spacious and secluded suites are well-suited for romantic getaways.

Contemporary (King, King with Bay View, King with Golden Gate View) 

Located on the hillside, Contemporary King accommodations offer one King-sized bed with organic linens, contemporary design with bamboo furnishings, inviting gas fireplace and private deck. Some rooms feature views of either the San Francisco Bay or Golden Gate Bridge. More like a typical hotel room but providing a spacious 357 square feet, this lodging is well-suited for guests for whom seclusion is not paramount.

Contemporary (Two Queens, Two Queens with Golden Gate View, Two Queens with Bay View)

Nestled on the hillside, the Contemporary Queen features two Queen-sized beds in one room, contemporary design, bamboo furnishings and inviting gas fireplace. Some rooms enjoy views of either the San Francisco Bay or Golden Gate Bridge. Accommodating up to four persons in 450 square feet, this room is ideal for families with younger children or friends traveling together.
