Cavallo Point offers a selection of dining options to satisfy the cravings of Bay Area residents, San Francisco visitors and lodge guests who wish to pair exceptional food and an incomparable setting.
All cuisine is under the direction of Michelin one-star Executive Chef Joseph Humphrey. He oversees Murray Circle, Farley Bar, room service for lodge guests, banquet service for meetings, groups and special events, and Cavallo Point's on-site cooking school.
Murray Circle - A Toast to Bay Area Cuisine
Cavallo Point's signature restaurant, Murray Circle, provides a stirring new venue for casually elegant dining and drinks. Led by Michelin one-star executive chef Joseph Humphrey, Murray Circle features Bay Area cuisine with a French accent and showcases the bounty of local and organic farms, ranches and culinary artisans in the San Francisco Bay Area region.
Located on the parade ground of the former Fort Baker, the intimate restaurant with timeless décor in earth tones has seating for 100 persons. Murray Circle also offers outdoor dining for 20 on the terrace, so guests can enjoy the Bay Area's temperate weather and splendid views of San Francisco, the Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served daily; weekend brunch is offered both Saturday and Sunday.
Culinary highlights include a Chef's Tasting Menu featuring selections of signature dishes and those inspired by today's finest market offerings.
The restaurant also offers a community table for eight to encourage new conversations. A children's menu focuses on the preferences of younger guests.
Farley Bar - Eat, drink & be merry!
Farley Bar is a Bay Area gathering place for great casual food, wine, spirits and fun. Highlighted by two historic fireplaces, the bar captures the warm and inviting ambience of a private club, featuring dark leather, comfortable furniture and original artwork. Offering an informal menu in a convivial atmosphere, Farley Bar is a great setting to meet friends, hang out and unwind.
Cavallo Point's Farley Bar is named in honor of the late Phil Frank, the beloved cartoonist and local resident. Farley is Frank's best-known comic strip, which ran in the San Francisco Chronicle for 32 years. Based in San Francisco, the comic strip's central character was Farley, a newspaper reporter and sometime park ranger, said to be Frank's alter ego.
Tea Bar - A Place to Sip and Savor
Like the tea leaf itself, our handcrafted tea and herbal drink bar at the entrance to the Healing Arts Center & Spa is a unique and welcoming discovery. A place to unwind and relax, the Tea Bar offers a variety of unusual beverages and savory spa cuisine. All are made with the freshest organic ingredients.
Allow our staff to guide you through this adventure of teas, herbs and tonics. Enjoy a light lunch and a glass of chilled lemon grass tea. Sip a cup of reishi cacao cappuccino or a gogi-lime colada and delight in the wonderful flavors and health benefits they offer. Whether you want to relax after a spa treatment, re-energize yourself after a long day, or just try something new, our Tea Bar has something for everyone.
Wine Cellar - Exceptional Wines to Savor Solo or Pair with Food
One of America's largest wine cellars puts big emphasis on small producers. Murray Circle's wine cellar is among the most extensive in the U.S. The stellar collection, when fully assembled by Wine Director Dan O'Brien, will feature over 13,000 bottles and 2,000 labels. These carefully-chosen offerings represent a range of wine styles, vintages, price points and regions -- from internationally-renowned producers to small estates showcasing the fruit of a single acclaimed vineyard. Our intention is to honor and support the producers and regions of the world that give their heart and soul through the expressions of the wine they produce. More than just a labor of love for these independent growers and vintners, winemaking is a livelihood as well.
