Travel Agent Pledge
OUR PLEDGE TO PROFESSIONAL TRAVEL AGENTS
Adopted in May, 1993
- Members of Preferred Hotels® & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. guarantee a minimum payment of 10% commission from all North American and Asia/Pacific hotels and 8% commission from all European and Middle East hotels.
- Members of Preferred Hotels® & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. will pay commission on all actual revenue booked by the professional travel agent.
- A new "standard" will be included in all unannounced annual member evaluations. The "Preferred Pledge to Professional Travel Agents" will become one of the criteria in the Standards of Excellence that properties must meet to become, and remain a member of Preferred Hotels® & Resorts Worldwide, Inc.
- Preferred Hotels® & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. will offer a toll-free number to agents for assistance with commission retrieval: + 1-877-748-2266 (+1 877-PH TA COM) within North America and +1 312 777 4653 for calls from outside of North America.
- All of Preferred's written promotional material will always include the language following Preferred's 800 number: "Or call your professional travel agent."
